The summer of 2020 marked the first taste of freedom after months of strict lockdowns. People longed to return to normal life, to embrace summer and regain a sense of freedom. Yet, caution was still essential.
For the German Federal Ministry of Health, we developed a campaign that navigated the delicate balance between promoting public safety and maintaining a positive, approachable tone. To achieve this, we created a friendly visual identity and collaborated with illustrator Francesco Ciccolella to communicate serious messages with warmth and empathy.
The result: probably Germanys most seen and controversial OOH campaign in 2020.
